ABOUT
My creative journey began with the careless abandon of many a teenager in regional Australia. A full life in the country, with plenty of of characters, freedom and exploration.
My passion for photography and journalism was unleashed with on our local rag, the Mudgee Guardian. I cut my teeth on regional events, including the Mudgee Small Farms Field Days. After graduating as a Journalist all roads led back to the country, where I expanded further into print media and design, managing the production department of a regional newspaper. A move into promotions, marketing and events quickly followed with agriculture-based organisations throughout NSW. This was not short on challenge or opportunity as I took branded-beef to the city with the iconic David Jones and marketed and managed Aussie beef and dairy genetics in Russia.
After marrying my Mr Right, a farmer and ag-contractor, I relocated to the Southern Downs, QLD with our little family. A role in the tourism and events sector, has driven me to utilise my skills and experience to shine a light on the richness of produce, people and experiences found in south east Queensland, and beyond into other areas of regional Australia.
With personal and professional events colliding earlier in 2015, I leapt off the cliff with camera in hand to rediscover my love for beautiful imagery, the charms of rural communities and the produce these regions provide, season after season. And the wife creative was born.
